Main Components Hydraulic Excavator


Exavator consist of various major components and have different fittings socan work well. The main components of the excavator made with durability andhigh strength so that it can withstand the severe operating conditions in the longlong time. The main components of the excavator consists of:

a. Track Rolller Frame   Track roller frame is the main frame that is used to install components   undercarriage

  
b. Main Frame    Main frame is the main frame to install the track roller frame and holder for    all major components of excavators.

c. Operator compartment / cabin   The cabin is an operator space and the control equipment and monitors. This room   made as comfortable as possible to reduce operator fatigue with equipped with   air conditioner.

d. Counterweight   Counter is a ballast weight mounted to the rear excavator    maintain balance while lifting weights excavators

e. Boom    Boom is an arm that is connected to the mainframe to support the stick and bucket. 

f. Stick   Stick a bucket arm mounting and other work equipment   driven by hydraulic cylinders.

g. Undercarriage   Undercarriage is a series of components that enable mobile excavator   with the track links, track rollers, final drives and travel motors. 

h. Powerlink   Powerlink is the equipment used to connect between the sticks and   bucket or other work equipment.

Excavator Hydraulic System on 
Excavator Hydraulic System on works by converting mechanical energy from engineinto electric energy by the hydraulic fluid pump and forwarded to the control valve toset the cylinder and hydraulic motor. Subsequently forwarded to the implement hydraulic flowand hydraulic motors to turn back the fluid energy into mechanical energy.
Based on the function, the hydraulic system on the excavator can be grouped into three,namely:a. Hydraulic Cylinder    Hydraulic cylinder that drives the work tool to do work which consists of three  types, namely:

 1. Boom Cylinder

 2. Stick Cylinder

 3. Bucket Cylinder

b. Swing Motor and Drive    Hydraulic oil which is controlled by control valve allows the swing drive and 

   motor     cooperate rotate 360 degree excavator.c. Travel Motor and Final Drive    Hydraulic oil which is 
   controlled by control valve and swivel joint enables the motor travel     and final drive excavators move 
   forward and backward.

Bucket & Work Tools
 Buckets and work tools that can be mounted on Exavator consists of various types in accordancewith the 
  application of each excavator. A common work tools mounted on Excavatorare: 

1. Excavation (X)    Excavation work to dig and bucket load of material such as soil soft and medium    and 
    clay. Consists of an adapter tip, wear resistant alloy steel cutting edge (tip), wear plate     and high grade 
    steel side bar.
2. Extreme Excavation (EX)     Extreem Excavation work to dig and bucket load of solid material and 
    abrasive such as a mixture of rock and soil, a mixture of sand and clay, mixed sand     and stone, coal, lime
    and metal ore (ore). Having more Ground Engaging tools     large, steel alloy wear resistant cutting edge, 
    wear plate and side bar.
3. Special Application Bucket    Special bucket application consists of various types such as ditch cleaning 
   bucket (tiltable),    skeleton bucket (heavy duty) and trapezoidal bucket. Each of the buckets have 
   superior performance in specific applications.

 4. Quick Coupler    Caterpillar quick coupler allows the operator to easily replace-change work tools    so 
    that the hydraulic excavator can have multiple purposes.5. Work Tools    Various worktool can be 
    mounted on excavators such as hammers, crushers,    PULVERIZER, shear, multiprocessor and grapple.
